THC Entgiftung Rechner
THC is stored in your body's fat cells and released slowly over time. The metabolite THC-COOH is what standard screenings detect. How quickly it clears depends on your usage frequency, body composition, metabolism, and lifestyle. This calculator estimates your personal clearance timeline for 4 types of screenings.
Estimate when THC will clear your system for urine, blood, saliva, and hair screenings. Enter your usage frequency, body type, metabolism, and lifestyle for a personalized detox timeline.

How THC metabolism works
When you consume cannabis, THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol) is rapidly absorbed and metabolized by your liver into 11-hydroxy-THC and then into THC-COOH (11-nor-9-carboxy-THC). THC-COOH is the primary metabolite that standard screenings detect. Because THC is highly fat-soluble, it gets stored in your body's fat cells and is released slowly over time. This is why regular users test positive for much longer than occasional users — they've accumulated more THC in their fat tissue. Factors like body fat percentage, metabolism speed, exercise habits, and hydration all influence how quickly your body clears these metabolites.
Factors that affect clearance time
Usage frequency is the single biggest factor — a one-time user may clear in 3-4 days, while a heavy daily user can take 60-90+ days. Body fat percentage matters because THC is stored in fat cells. Higher BMI generally means slower clearance. Metabolism speed (influenced by age, genetics, and thyroid function) affects how quickly your liver processes THC-COOH. Regular cardio exercise burns fat and releases stored THC for processing — but exercising right before a test can temporarily spike THC levels in your blood. Hydration supports kidney function but won't dramatically speed clearance. Consumption method matters too: edibles produce different metabolites that can take longer to clear.
Understanding screening types
Urine tests are the most common (workplace, probation) with a standard 50 ng/mL cutoff. They detect THC-COOH metabolites. Blood tests are less common but used in roadside testing and medical settings — they detect active THC at 2 ng/mL. Saliva tests are increasingly used for workplace and roadside checks — they detect THC at 25 ng/mL but only within a short window (hours to days). Hair tests can detect use up to 90 days back by analyzing a 3.8cm hair sample (hair grows ~1.3cm per month). Hair tests are the hardest to beat and are used by some employers and courts.
Safe detox practices
There are no magic shortcuts to clearing THC from your body. Products claiming to 'flush' or 'detox' THC overnight are not scientifically proven. The most effective approach is time combined with healthy habits: regular cardio exercise (stop 48 hours before any screening), adequate hydration (2-3 litres daily), a healthy diet rich in fibre, and adequate sleep. Avoid cannabis completely during your detox period. Do not attempt dangerous methods like excessive water consumption (water intoxication is real and dangerous) or ingesting unproven supplements. The most reliable strategy is to check your levels at home before any screening.
